Alexa Nicole Scott is a Pinellas County native. She attended St. Petersburg College and the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. Ms. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, and a graduate certificate in Legal Studies and Computer Related Crime. Alexa received her law degree from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School (Tampa campus) in 2017.
While in law school, Alexa served as Chief Justice of the Moot Court Executive Board. As a student, Alexa competed in the 2016 August A. Rendigs, Jr. National Products Liability Moot Court Competition in Cincinnati, Ohio; 2016 Robert Orseck Moot Court Competition at the Florida Bar Annual Convention; and, the E. Earle Zehmer National Moot Court Competition at the Workers’ Compensation Institute. Alexa now volunteers as a coach at her law school alma mater to help prepare the national moot court team for competitions.
Alexa previously interned with Timothy A. Miller, P.A., a probate and trust litigation firm in St. Petersburg. She was previously employed by Kira Doyle Law, a real estate and estate planning firm, before joining Beltz and Beltz as a law clerk in 2016.
