Wet conditions on Keene Road resulted in a crash that led to two fatalities on Monday, August 23, 2021. Source.

The driver of a Dodge Charger lost control of his vehicle and swerved from the northbound lanes to the southbound lanes into oncoming traffic. A Jeep Wrangler was heading southbound and was hit head-on by the Charger.

The driver of the Dodge Charger and both the driver and passenger of the Jeep Wrangler were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. At the hospital, the driver of the Dodge Charger and the Jeep Wrangler passenger died as a result of their injuries. The driver of the Jeep was in serious but stable condition.

According to the police, wet road conditions were the main cause of the collision. Alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
