Motorcyclist Dies in Collision with Box Truck

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist died after a collision with a box truck that turned into his path on US 41 and Veterans Avenue. Source.

The box truck was being driven by a 55-year-old man from Summerville who was headed west on Veterans Avenue. The 69-year-old motorcyclist was traveling south on US 41 towards Veterans Avenue. At the intersection, the box truck turned into the path of the motorcycle when the motorcycle collided with the undercarriage of the truck.

The man driving the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene of the accident. The box truck driver was not injured.
