On August 20, 2022, a crash on U.S. Highway 19 in Palm Harbor, Florida, left all southbound lanes closed for nearly five hours, according to Florida Highway Patrol. Two Harley-Davidson motorcycles were traveling south on the highway when traffic began to slow in front of them. One of the motorcycles lost control of their vehicle, causing them to collide with the second motorcyclist. Both motorcycles overturned and crashed into a Ford F-250.
