
A crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle driving on US 41 North left 2 dead on Saturday night in Sarasota County. According to Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of the SUV was attempting to turn onto Bayshore Road from US 41 North when she drove into the path of a motorcycle. The motorcycle had two occupants. Due to the collision, both the driver and passenger of the motorcycle were killed. Names of these two individuals have not yet been released, but it is known that it was a 30-year-old male and a 24-year-old female. The driver of the SUV left the scene with serious injuries. This motorcycle crash is still currently under investigation.
