Woman Suffers Fatal Injuries After Car Crash

On Wednesday, July 21, at 8:35 in the morning, a woman was driving east on I-4 when her car was hit by a sport utility vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries. Source.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fifty-eight-year-old woman was driving east on I-4 when the back of her car was hit by the SUV driver, a thirty-seven-year-old St. Petersburg man. The SUV driver was changing lanes when he hit the woman’s vehicle, causing her car to run into the barrier that separates the eastbound and westbound lanes. After colliding with the barrier, the woman’s car bounced back into traffic.

The woman died at the hospital from her injuries, and the man suffered minor injuries.
